What is Digital Synth?

The synth uses modern signal processing techniques to produce sounds of the music. The introduction of computers back in the 70’s enhanced the practicability of production of sound synthesis.

With its system, it creates a line of numbers that produces sounds from speakers. At Stanford University, John Chowning experimented with the frequency modulation synthesis in 1971, and soon after, Yamaha’s engineers adapted his ideas to produce digital synthesizers.
